Hi, I was charged for a purchase someone else made on a bid.

Here is what happened - some other person bid for an item, but they billed it and sent it to me. It was a glitch on their end.

eBay customer support will lie about their technical fault and say your account is compromised and you’re left to call your bank and wait on line for hours.

Why can’t they just take accountability about the glitch? This is so annoying. I hope everyone who bids recurrently has been checking their account charges. At this point I’m doubting I’m the only one
