So back in February, my husband of almost 18 years confessed to me that he slept with another woman. He shared that she saw him in QT one time, said he was attractive, and gave him her number. Sound far fetched? It is!
I got details from him. He said it happened on Valentine's Day when I was trusting him to go see his Mountain Bike friends at the 24 Hour race in Oracle. Clearly, he got sidetracked and took advantage of the opportunity. I didn't text as he was always very good about checking in. Needless to say, when he got home at 130 am, I asked to see his phone which he adamantly refused. That's the massive guilt right there when he held on to it so tight and yelled how I never trusted him. Guilt guilt guilt.
Well, weeks went on and I knew something was off with his story. Although we made plans to divorce, our son graduates HS this May and I needed him to respect and commit to this family until after the Graduation. Let our son have HIS moment! So I found out his Reddit handle by accident. Found out I can search a website that shows a digital footprint. Sure enough, there's a user in the top 3. I search her digital footprint also. Yep. All his comments since September. She posted nudes photos, sexual acts, etc. She was married too. I found the "smoking gun" comments on her February 15th post of her 🍑. His comment was "Unforgettable". I'm not dummy. I called her out on her next post as I was following her page for a while. Labeled her as a HOMEWRECKER. She was pissed at my husband because I found them out. QT never took place. I made my husband show me all the DMs between him and her and it showed selfies, sunsets, all of it! He kept talking to her even though he committed to family. I was destroyed. All the lies on top of eachother. Watching me go through the trauma and holding on to the lies. Why? How could he? As I continue to heal and recover slowly, I move into my new place this weekend and also our divorce is final this June. I'll never love again as I am 100% ruined! My trust is destroyed in men.
