I (21m) have a close group of four friends i go to college with. They’re all guys and they’re all my age.
We have this very dumb joke where we pants each other, meaning we pull each other’s pants down (not the boxers). It’s never in public and no one cares, yes it’s immature but we all find it funny. And if it’s not harming and of us and we don’t do it in front of others who cares.
Anyway one of my friends who I will say is named Toby (not actually) recently got a boyfriend who I will say is named Jared (not actually). Anyway while drunk at a party Jared came up to me and said he heard about our little pantsing game and he’s not comfortable with us doing that to Toby. Apparently he told the other guys too. I figured hey no skin off my teeth and we laid off.
But then a few times we noticed Toby still doing it to us. We figured that it was okay now and went back to doing it as normal. Me (and the other guys) get a long text message from Jared, but we just ignored it. We figured we’d go by Toby’s comfort level, not Jared’s, but our girlfriends said we’re assholes for not taking Jared’s feelings
