Hello Everyone!
I just want to give a quick background about my situation before I get into my question. So I am currently pregnant for the second time and have set an appointment to see how far along I am later today. My first pregnancy was a little less than a year ago when i was 19 and I opted for the medication abortion. I would say it wasn’t the best experience only because I ended up getting an infection a few days afterward and spent quite a while in the emergency room. I also bled for much longer than I had anticipated.
Im now 20 and I just can’t figure out if i want to risk it again and have a medicated abortion again and hope to not have another infection afterwards. I’m really scared of the surgical abortion only because i’m not good with needles and sometimes being at the doctor gives me major anxiety. I’m currently away at school and I won’t be returning home until May 6 so i don’t think i will do it until i get back home so I have some time.
I would just love to get some insight from people about their experience with both the medicated and surgical abortion so maybe I can have a bit of a better experience this time around.
