I recently moved back to my hometown in India, and the hot, humid climate has completely messed with my curls.
They were doing great in colder, drier weather, but now they’re frizzy, feel dry/rough, tangle easily, and lose definition within a day.
Hair type:
3A/3B, high porosity
Routine (used to work well before):
Dove curly hair shampoo & conditioner
Shea Moisture Manuka Honey deep conditioning mask (weekly)
Carol’s Daughter Goddess Strength leave-in cream
Not Your Mother’s Curl Talk medium hold gel
Other details:
I use a regular hair dryer to dry my hair (no diffuser)
Water here is soft
I don’t use any anti-humidity products
I don’t refresh since it makes tangling worse
Right now, my hair just looks messy and gets tangled really fast.
Looking for advice on:
Adjusting my routine for humidity

Reducing frizz + getting better hold
