I ‘F25’ met a guy about two years ago. Not that it matters but for context I am not one to hop in relationships or go on a lot of dates. Very selective about who I spend my time with. I can’t even begin to explain this but from the moment I laid my eyes on this guy it just felt like we were meant to be together. He was in town for work and we had bumped into each other in public (sober- not at a bar). We ran into each other an hour later and by some luck he asked for my number. We ended up getting dinner while he was in town and connected really well.
We have so much in common and lifestyle and work wise are very similar. I can’t say I have ever felt so sure that I was meant to be with someone. Well he ended up in town last week and called me and we met up and even after all the time it felt so right. (And we have been chatting often via phone call) He is someone that I do believe I could spend the rest of my life with and I deep down feel that I’ll regret it if I don’t try to find a way to make this work. He lives many states away so if we wanted to do this one of us would have to move eventually. My plan is perhaps I could visit him some within the next year. Job wise I think I would want a year to wrap things up but think I’d be open to relocating and finding a job near him.
I’ve never considered moving for a man let alone pictured things working out long term like this. Deep down I feel that if I don’t give this a shot I’ll spend the rest of my life regretting not trying.
