Companies (specifically mining) are allowed to dump toxic waste into our rivers and the people have a blind loyalty to vote/support for the ones doing it. (Like Obediah) Most companies get off from any type of accountability due to paying off DEP & local politicians. Some say we are dealt a bad hand because a curse Native Chief Cornstalk put on the land before the colonizers offed him. Our flesh and teeth rot out due to the tap water that comes out in our sinks & washers that we pay inflated water bills on. There’s some creepy Murfree Brood types that will disappear you without a trace too. Also the shaman looks like an old white guy pretending to be native. We have a lot of that here too with the “granddaughter/grandson of a cherokee princess”
It’s sad but crazy detail that R* added considering most Americans don’t even know this state exists let alone the generational issues involving it.
