Hi ladies, I just needed to get this off my chest.
Two of my friends recently got divorced, and it’s been really upsetting to watch. They’re both amazing women, but the experience made them depressed.
Both marriages were traditional, and on paper the men seemed perfect. But in reality, their personalities were completely different. One of them basically married a man-child. He was on video games nonstop from the second day of marriage, barely spoke to her, never took her out and didn't talk to her.
The other friend married someone who was honestly just disrespectful and inappropriate. He spoke badly about his own sisters and treated my friend like she was his property. Threatened to rxxx her in front of her family if she challenged him.
What hurts is that both of these women are smart, kind, and have such great personalities.
I keep saying الحمدلله they asked for divorce, but it’s still hard to see them struggling.
