Showing off my collection because I think I’ve achieved purse peace. A little bit of background on how I acquired each piece (narrated below in the order I acquired them).

  1. Celine Luggage - this was my gateway to luxury bags. I’ve always liked the Celine luggage and I was actually looking for a nano size, but eventually found this almost new piece. The red is so stunning and it powers up my work outfits so much. My only complaint on this is that it’s very heavy empty so with my laptop, planner, etc. it’s very heavy. It’s a car to office desk kind of bag — not meant to be held for long periods of time.

  2. Gucci Horsebit 1955 - this was my first bought brand new in store. Originally, I bought this in the monogram version but after going through 2 pieces (one had a piece of plastic by the strap handle that wouldn’t come off and the other was very old stock), I finally settled on this full brown leather piece instead. I’ve loved this to bits especially the two straps. I wanted to get the east west version in monogram (because I really wanted this style) and the additional two straps that I can interchange between the 2 bags would have been perfect; but sadly, it’s out of stock everywhere where I’m based and I was told it will no longer be sold. If I find one second hand, that will probably be the only thing I add to my collection.

  3. Loewe Puzzle in Sahara - while I bought the horsebit first, this was, originally, what I wanted as my first luxury handbag. But when I was about to buy in store, the stock they had had unacceptable imperfections (like the white zipper lining got overextended and there was a piece sticking out as extra). Luckily, another store had a better stock and loved that I scored this. I love this color so much. I find the yellow shade to be so flexible and can match with anything.

  4. Gucci Marmont - I wasn’t pining for a marmont bag but when I saw this pre-loved in a good price and beautiful blush color in person, I couldn’t resist and I took it home. It’s filled out my yearning for a soft feminine looking bag (I like soft feminine bags — before luxury bags I loved Kate Spade bags in pastel colors).

  5. Givenchy Pandora - I wanted a bag that I can use for traveling and was looking for a piece pre-loved. Initially, I was looking at a LV Speedy in classic monogram but it got sold pretty fast! I saw this several times already but ignored in the past. I don’t know why on that certain day when I viewed this online, I had glimpses of how I wanted to style it in my head. It had a good price too so I eventually ended up getting it. No regrets! There was a time when I used to dress more edgy (like Avril Lavigne) type so this bag kind of fills in that side of me I guess.

  6. Loewe Flamenco - ah, my latest acquisition. I flip flopped between this and the LV speedy 25 in classic monogram. I was set on getting the flamenco already and looked at stocks in store but I kept seeing issues in the stocks. I tried the speedy in store —beautiful bag, very lightweight, very versatile, cheaper a bit than the flamenco and the stock was pristine. But, I couldn’t pull the trigger because my heart was pining for the flamenco in this burnt red color. I knew it’s a seasonal color too so if I let it pass then it’s gone. Sooo I went with my heart for this one.

P.S.
I also have a Strathberry Lana (not adding in the main since it’s really mid-lux). I love this bag a lot too but the weak magnet closure is disappointing so I consider this as an open bucket bag with no closure. Still useable and lovely though.

There you have it! Just really wanted to share my luxury handbag collection and journey. As you can see above, I keep going for the LV Speedy 25 but have not pulled the trigger on it. I’m at purse peace with my collection and I’m not sure if I will eventually end up getting a Speedy. Maybe. We’ll see. 😊
