New Kobo accessories!
Here are some photos of the Kobo accessories I’ve accumulated since purchasing the device at the beginning of the month!
The case was purchased from Etsy and has a sliding detachable front cover with a clear back. It was important to me to find one without magnets, as I’ve heard they’ve caused issues for some users. I absolutely love it, but my only note is that it gets finger prints on the front cover very easily.
The page turner was also purchased from Etsy and came with black key caps. I purchased some artisan ones from Etsy as well to spice it up. My only wish is that I could turn off the LED lights under the keys when reading at night. Other than that, I love it!
The puffy case was purchased from Amazon (Canada). I wanted something plain with a good amount of padding to protect the device, and I love it so much. It has a super strong magnetic closure. I was worried there would be a possibility of my Kobo falling out when tipped upside down, but no issues there. There’s also a stylus loop on the inside that goes all the way down the case, which is an added bonus! I originally ordered adhesive pen loops to attach to my case, but this spot is perfect when I’m not suing the stylus and keeps the device itself less bulky without the stylus attached to the outside. The sleeve is a little longer than the length of my Kobo, but I really don’t mind. Overall, another great purchase!
My last hunt was for cute dust plugs. I can be picky and couldn’t find any that I really loved. However, I found some cute charms on Etsy and ordered those along with clear USB C dust plugs from Amazon to make my own. Some of the jump rings that came with the charms were either too tiny to fit in the little hole of the dust plug or didn’t allow the charms to move around, so I bought some jump rings from my local craft store and used those to attach the charms. I had a lot of fun while making these and recommend it to anyone in search of a fun craft night!
