This post is just to highlight the excellent customer service experience that I just had with Sam's club. So last year, I purchased a large outdoor playset for my kids from Sam's Club. In order to get free delivery, I had to enroll in the Plus membership, which I did. This was definitely worth it, even though the membership is $129. Fast foward to today, I noticed on my bank card transactions a renewal. So I grab the phone and dial up their customer service. I get directed to an AI voice chat bot that asks if I'm calling about an order, and I say "No". Next question, "what can I help you with today?". I say "refund my membership". I then get immediately routed to a live agent. I tell her I'd like to get a refund for my renewal since I never recieved any notification about the upcoming renewal and no longer need the membership. The agent then asks for my membership number, name, email address and phone number. Then she gives me the obligatory last chance to keep my membership with a one sentence explanation of the benefits, which I promptly say "no thanks" to. Next she goes ahead and turns off the auto renewal and processes a refund back to the card that was charged. We say our goodbyes and that's it.

It's so refreshing to find a company that still values my time as much as I do. No endless handoffs to different agents, being placed on hold excessively long...etc etc. I don't have a Sam's Club warehouse close to me nor do I need to purchase anything from Sam's Club online but I am thoroughly impressed with my customer service experience so this is just an appreciation post!
