dark shadows on models after multi cut?

This is my first time using Maya and when I started creating this pillar structure, I wanted 2 of the pillars to be broken, so I used multi cut to slice it in half to make it look like it's crumbled and fallen, but now all the pieces that I used multicut on have really dark and strong shadows from certain angles, anyway to fix this? Keep in mind I don't have a clue what I'm doing lol

Hi, I'm new to Maya for my uni course, and was using it at home today when I pressed the space bar by accident, sending it into the view with 4 screens, I then pressed it again, sending into a top down view where I couldn't move the camera and it said "orthographic views are currently locked" but I accidentally hit some random key and it sent it back to normal.

A while later I did the same thing by accident, but since didn't know what I pressed last time I looked up how to resolve the orthographic views thing. I ended up fixing it, but now the camera angle and moving the camera has gone weird, I can't just hold alt and hold left click to look in every direction anymore, it's really rigid and I have to let go of the mouse button and re adjust if I want to change the direction I'm moving the camera.

Anyone know how to fix this? I tried renaming the preference folder but nothing happened

Keep in mind I've been a DC fan all my life, but I only recently got into comics properly so I'm not too knowledgeable on a lot of major events/comic runs.

I started reading Kyle Rayners original run not too long back, and just I just recently finished reading zero hour. My only question is, does Kyle Rayner die at the end? I presumed he did and that he was going to come back to life somehow, but reading on in his run, the next issue is just him on a random adventure in some mos eisley cantina looking space bar. I tried looking up online what issue he comes back to life or whatever but I couldn't find anything, and the search result says he doesn't die.

I assumed after seeing him get blown up whilst holding Hal Jordan back that he would be, as well as the panel above from zero hour issue 0, with waverider saying that "the young GL" would remain dead. Does anyone know what comic I have to read to understand what happens between zero hour and green lantern issue 56 so I can go back to reading Kyle's story? Any help appreciated.

Edit: also does anyone know what I have to read to get context for hal becoming the spectre, I read green lantern rebirth before this as it was highly recommended to get into GL comics as a whole. Thanks

Before I start keep in mind I know absolutely nothing about pc's. A while back a friend gifted me his old pre built pc, a HP Pavilion Power Desktop 580-0xx, but it's extremely slow. I did a pretty lazy search on how to improve pc speed and ended up installing an extra 8gb of ram (which seeing the prices now actually was a pretty good move) but it obviously stayed mostly the same since it has a hard drive. I asked online and looked around and came to the conclusion of replacing my old hard drive with an SSD, possibly a TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan Z 512 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive since I can get it online for not that much.

But I was just wondering If there was anything I need to know before buying it and going ahead with the replacement, I've seen some people online talk about keeping the hard drive for one purpose and adding the SSD to help with games and such, is that something I should try do? Am I even able to do it with my pc???

I'll include my specs below but can answer any questions or provide more information if needed, I just need to make sure I know what I'm doing before I purchase anything.

Any help appreciated.

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz

Installed ram: 16.0 GB

Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3GB (3 GB)

Storage: 932 GB HDD TOSHIBA DT01ACA100

System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Not too long back I bought 3 gammon shanks for cheap from a local butcher, and after I used them up, I kept the bones in a bag and froze them to hopefully use for homemade tonkotsu ramen broth (there's also some big fatty rind pieces as well but idk whether they're useful or not). I thawed them out yesterday and it only just occurred to me to ask if I could actually use these for tonkotsu in the first place, I've put a picture of the bones above for context.

I also purchased some pork belly slices that are about an inch thick and 5-6 inches long to use for chasu since I couldn't get a full pork belly, can I use either of these things to make a good tonkotsu ramen? Or should I just use them for something else instead. Any help appreciated, I can add more information if needed/asked
