Just Moved Home, Need Some Support

Hi everyone, this is my first post here.

I recently graduated college and just had to move back home for financial reasons. I had a really complecated childhood. My Dad is verbally and emotionally abusive and my Mom is super passive and distant. I struggle with bipolar disorder and since finding out my parents have been suprisingly supportive. It runs on my Dads side of the family and two of his brothers are also bipolar, one of which comitted suicide when my Dad was a teenager. They don't know exactly how to be supportive but I can tell they're trying. My Mom had parents who fought all her life and was sexually abused for years by a neighbor. My Dad's parents were physically abusive to him and his brothers. I recognize they're very traumatized people, I suspect my Dad has BPD due to his narcisicm and volitile, emotional nature. He was very abusive to my sisters and I growing up, me especially. Everything I did was a personal attack and anytime he was frusterated or stressed he would verbally abuse me, take my things, or break stuff. So naturally, I tried as much as I could to avoid him growing up. Now as an adult in need of support it's so hard to trust either of my parents.
