Why is my portable AC unit emitting a sweet smell?
This AC unit is on loan from my landlord. I’m pretty sure there’s something wrong with it though. It does cool, but I shut it off within 10 minutes because it has a sweet smell coming from it, so I was concerned I was poisoning myself and my cat. Does anyone have any advice? I already cleaned the filters and made sure there’s no water in it. Thanks in advance. I’m also just a girl so I have no idea how to take it apart to investigate.
