I kinda wish that the iPad Pro would function like a Macbook OS but also a hint of iPad OS.
After my previous post about how I loved my iPad Pro, I got a lot of comments saying how it isn't exactly like a laptop, and yeah, I would agree. The iPad Pro at the end of the day is a mobile OS, the iPad functions SIMILARILY to a laptop, not exactly like a laptop. There are some benefits to that, like some apps work way better on an iPad than a laptop as it provides more features because the iPad has touchscreen and you can use an Apple Pencil. But sometimes you wish that the iPad could also act like macOS. For example, some macOS apps aren't available on iPadOS, which sucks, and also some other key functionalities that macOS has that iPadOS doesn't. It really is a wish that iiPadOS could also be a hybrid of macOS for certain stuff, but reality is, if Apple did that, the macOS line would be killed. That would hurt Apple sales and that would be pretty bad. But that's is honestly, for me, the only downside to iPad Pro. Other than that, I'm pretty happy with my purchase! You don't really notice that you need macOS for some functionalities as I've done some tricks and I've got it to function like macOS for certain stuff, but trust me, iPad is a great investment!
