Bought a Voltas 1.5 Ton 5 Star AC around 15 days ago and noticed something weird

When the AC is OFF from the main switch, there’s a strong current/shock feeling coming from the metal body/screws. But when the AC is ON, there’s no current at all.

Tried checking different sockets but still seeing the same issue. Is this a earthing problem, wiring issue, or something inside the AC itself?

Anyone faced something similar with Voltas or other ACs?
