Hello everyone, this story has been bothering me for years. When I was about 9 or 10 years old I was watching the classic pbs kids in the morning before my mom took me to school. She was in the shower as I watched word girl. We live with my uncle, older cousin, and my uncles wife. The three of them had already left for work and school that morning. As my mom was in the shower and I was watching the show, I got up to go to the kitchen because I was just thirsty and wanted a bottle of water. As I opened the fridge I remember hearing a deep male voice, a voice I had never heard before that said, "(my name), come closer". It had said my name clear as day then paused for a second before telling me to come closer. I remember looking in the direction of the voice that was to the left of the refrigerator which was a wall, but did not see anything. I ran to the bathroom where my mom was mid shower as I cried and yelled for her to let me in because the door was locked. I was scared shitless. I don't even remember if I grabbed a water bottle. She let me in and I sat on the toilet seat crying waiting for her to get out of the shower. I don't even remember if I told her what happened while she was in the shower or after she had gotten out, but I do remember she checked the house. ----------------- Our home is pretty small and honestly there could have been no way for anyone to be in the house. We have a big gate about 6 feet tall and our doors have good locks on them, they're also double with a screen door that needs to be unlocked, our windows also have bars on them. It happened minutes after the rest of my family left. I don't remember much after this happened but it has bothered me for years. I'm 20 now and we still live in the same house, not many strange things have happened like that ever again. Does anyone have a reasonable explination? Or has anyone had this happen to them before? I'm not very religious but the male voice was so deep I would imagine it to be gods since it was so booming and assertive. I wonder what would've happened if I wasn't scared and checked it out.
