I feel like I’m looking at things incorrectly in Volusia County Florida.
As I am told we have no waiting list to get on NO2 for senior housing at disabled housing not for section 8 Housing
We are in the Ormond Beach area and we have a family member on oxygen that requires power actually two large machines covered together
This cannot possibly be the only very low income person in the area facing homelessness because of cost of housing in proportion to SSI income.
The thing I am noticing is, I do feel a lot of handicap, disabled homeless people from missing a leg from missing both and they are homeless. I have never seen a homeless person on oxygen.
Is there some special resource for them that I should be contacting that I am unaware of? He has to stay in the area because that’s where his care takers are.
