Sold an item and 2 weeks later the buyer disputed the transaction with Venmo

Met the buyer in person and he paid $150 with Venmo as a F&F transaction. Two weeks later they filed a case stating that they did not make this purchase. Sounds like a scam. Luckily I always transfer money out and never have a Venmo balance. I also removed all my accounts from Venmo. It's now on hold. I sent them screenshots of my listing, Facebook Messenger messages and the timestamps align with the payment time. Venmo is asking me to add funds while the case is being handled. I will not do that nor will I ever use Venmo for this again. Not sure if it's worth filing a police report unless this goes to collections. The buyer has a public profile so I may report to FB to help others avoid this scam.

My wife and I are joint owners of the smartly checking and savings accounts. She also has 2 accounts she is the sole owner of along with an IRA.

I have the smart rewards credit card and she is an authorized user. She also has a smart rewards card she uses for her business. Not set up as a business account though.

The balances put us in Platinum territory.

When I view the accounts with my sign in it says Silver tier with a lower qualifying balance. But the savings rate is 3.4%.

When she views the joint accounts with her login it says Platinum with a much higher qualifying balance.

Neither credit card has the higher reward percent. Still 2%.

Do I need to be added as a joint owner to her IRA to link everything together? And/or add her as a joint owner of my credit card?

We opened the IRA last week so maybe it’s all just timing?
