How do I improve my sense of rhythm?

Hello,

Here's my issue :

I have what I think to be a very bad sense of rhythm and feel like a fraud lol

I took music lessons for about 10 years, studied music theory, played in an orchestra and in different other kinds of groups at the music school and I did actually quite well.

But since I used music sheets literally all the time (because the teachers never ever said otherwise) I struggle very badly to play/sing in rhythm without reading the sheets. More often than not, I'm one or two beats ahead/late and when I manage to finally get it right, it's only because I memorised the sheets after reading it so much.

I don't really feel the rhythm and I'm looking for any advices to improve that point.

Pleaaase share your wisdom!

Attempting a new style - mind the volume 🔊🔊

Hello,

Have been practicing this song lately. It's a little different and higher than what I'm used to. It feels super comfortable but I can't tell if this sounds kind of ok or super annoying.

I like singing loudly, but sometimes (like in this recording) it just feels like too much, not aggressive but kind of I'd like to practice on singing more softly but I struggle to hit the right spot between weak and too loud and am not really comfortable with my head voice

Also, I don't have any idea of what my voice sounds like to a stranger ear, like tone wise. I'm super curious to know

Don't mind the lame guitar, I use it for pitch mostly and hadn't figured out the rhythmic

Any thought, feedback, advice are welcome

Please be kindly honest and thank you for your time, I hope I didn't hurt your ears

Question inspirée par une autre question récente.

Je pense que le titre est assez parlant.

Les changements physiques sont inévitables, les vergetures, le poids en plus, la peau détendue etc
