Finished modding a 1981 Fender Lead III and figured I would share it and see if anyone wants to share their mods also.

Neck:
--Warmoth modern
--Burnished purpleheart with ebony fingerboard
--Stainless steel jumbo frets
--Wilkinson roller nut
--Fender locking tuners
--Finished with Angelus black leather dye and Osmo-Polyx wax

Bridge and Tremola
--Callaham guitars recessed bridge with compensated saddles
--Duesenberg Diamond Tremola polished aluminum

I waited about a year before dressing the frets and burnishing/finishing the neck, but in hindsight I should have done it sooner because it makes a huge difference.
