Opossum living in my house- it bit me
I noticed a month ago that an opossum has taken up residence in my home and I have set up TWO live traps to catch it. I had to temporarily move my cats into my parents’ house because the asshole gave them fleas and my older cat was fighting it, so until I catch the fucker, I can’t have my cats in my own home. Well, no matter what I do, the opossum NEVER goes for the live bait and I’m at work during prime hours of it being out and about. I got off work yesterday and saw it, tried grabbing it, and it tried to bite me and ran off. Today, I heard it rummaging about and I tried grabbing it, it bit me, and I got fed up and tazed it. Honestly, I thought the tazer would kill it humanely, but it just seemed to scare/piss off the fucker more. It ran off and is hiding in my house again. I really don’t want to shoot it because I live in a close knit neighborhood and they would call the cops if they heard gunshots- but this asshole is driving me insane. I don’t know what to do. HE IS HIDING IN MY WALLS. I feel like a crazy woman and I don’t want to hurt animals, but if it keeps going on like this, I’m afraid I’ll have to kill it. I just miss my cats, man
