Every week I end up being assigned to orders that have been previously stolen. I am usually very careful and suspicious of huge payout orders with a minimal mileage, because that is a good indicator that something is wrong with it and most likely it was already stolen, but sometimes I do get them.
These food thieves piss me off big time and I was wondering if anyone knows how/if Uber ACTUALLY deals with them. I know that some drivers do this on purpose, to punish (??) customers for low tips, but this doesn't make them heroes, that makes them huge assholes. Period.
Also, I am usually like a third-fifth driver to show up at the restaurant, which means that every single driver before me just cancels the order - that simply gets reassigned to the next driver - instead of spending 3 minutes to CALL support and have them cancel the order altogether. The 3 minutes you "waste" saves time for the next driver and allows the customer to reorder food instead of waiting for their stolen order.
