I need advice plssss
Okay, so this started in December. This boy at my school started staring at me from across the lunchroom. At first I didn’t notice it, but my friends did. After they pointed him out, I realized it was a boy I sat next to in APUSH and Chemistry . We’re gonna call him Ted. Fast forward to now, and he’s still been staring at me consistently since then. He also stares at me in the halls and even outside of school. He always tries to sit next to me too. I gave him a pencil like 3 months ago, and he still uses it. Ted is kind of shy and quiet, but he has a lot of friends. So I had one of my friends tell his friend that one of her friends thought Ted was cute. The first thing his friend said was, “Is she Black? Because Ted doesn’t like Black girls.” After hearing that, I immediately told my friend never mind because WHAT?? But later, my friend went up to Ted personally and asked him if he would ever date a Black girl, and he said, “Yeah, I’ve never dated a Black girl before, but I wouldn’t mind.” Still, the main thing is the constant staring everywhere like inside school, outside after school, in the halls, and in both classes and the way he goes out of his way to sit near me. Also, whenever someone says my name, he always turns around and looks at me. There are a lot more little things too. But maybe I’m exaggerating, so can you guys please let me know what you think? And for more context he’s 16m and I’m 16w. Thanks!
