What are realistic future reductions of new build costs?
Houses are very expensive to build in Australia, for a range of reasons. Some really good ones like decent wages for workers, some really crappy ones like the investor class inflating our costs. But aside from all that, we are also in 2026 and technology changes every year. For those in the know, are there any reasonable changes on the horizon to how quickly and cheaply houses can be built without compromising quality?
