So I have this red spots type on my tongue for about 20 days, on both sides of my tongue left and right. So I got slightly burning sensation for about 4 days about 2 hours the burning sensation will be there after that it will be normal. Yesterday I have consulted the dentist he said there are sharp tooth on both sides and he grind them and gave me a gel “Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Metronidazole & Lignocaine Hydrochloride gel” and asked me to consult after 5 days. So my worry is I have smoked for 3 years and stopped it on March 2nd 2026, from then I haven’t smoked nor drank. Please help me with this, is this the initial stage of oral or tongue cancer..?
