First Car Help
Hello everybody, I recently (2 days ago) purchased a 2014 bmw 328i xdrive gt as my first car for $8300. It has 93k miles and is overall super clean. I have been super worried about the n20 engine for the past few days though, especially as I am learning more and more about the catastrophic timing chain issues. This car still has the original chain, and has no issues, however if any arise I will not be able to afford to repair it. At the moment I am deciding between selling the car or keeping it, and I am heavily leaning towards selling it, especially because a few dealerships have already offered me about 8k. In addition to the 8.3 I spent, I also paid another 400 on a new battery, which had never been replaced (It had been running on the OG for 13 years). I know that in this situation I'm pretty dumb so please don't berate me for it, but I'm just wondering what I should do. Thanks!
