Has anyone who's PayPal has been banned opened a new one and is working perfectly fine ?

Hey guys, my account just got flagged because my friend sent some funds and they came as business payment. Now they want proof so that my account can be restored and I don't have a business. If I contact support and explain, will they assist ?
