My bf and I have been dating for about 10 months now, and something I've noticed is that he rarely ever initiates giving me kisses or holding my hand. I always grab his arm or reach for his hand and he is happy about it but he's never the one to initiate it. He only gives me kisses to me when I ask for them or if I give him a kiss first. Other than that, he likes to cuddle and we cuddle a lot. I want to bring this up to him because physical affection is big for me, but I also feel bad because I feel that he shows me affection in lots of other ways. He is big on acts of service.
Yesterday I got really sick and he spent the whole day taking care of me, getting me food and medicine, cuddling me, massaging me. But this issue has been on my mind for so long now I want to bring it up ASAP but I'm wondering if today would be a bad time since he did so much for me yesterday. I will also note that I'm my bf's first real and serious relationship.
I'm wondering 1. Why is it that he acts this way? Could he be not attracted to me in that way? and 2. Will today be a bad time to bring up the issue?
