DME mask exchange help
I've been on CPAP for a week. My AHI went from 52 down to less than 5 (seems to hover under 2 now). I finally think I've figured the mask tightness issue to prevent leaks. I have a Siesta original full face mask. I have a couple problems- 1. The air vents out of the top of the nose are noisy and if I go to my side, it reflects off my pillow or arm into my eyes. 2. There is a bit more pressure on the bridge of my nose than I like- not painful, but it feels like it may cause soreness down the line. 3. I'm a glasses user. It isn't necessary, but I'm considering a full face that goes under the nose.
I'm considering these masks as potential replacements:
Mask:AirFit F40, Airfit F30i, Airfit F20, Philips Dreamwear Full Face, React Health Rio 2 full face, Siesta 2, Fisher & Paykel Evora Full Face.
Has anyone tried the Siesta 2, especially if you can compare to the original? I'm leaning this way since I don't want to exchange for a much worse mask.
For the hybrid full masks, does anyone have any experience or input on them, especially for high pressure (18)?
Is it possible for me to ask my DME to keep the original mask for a few days? That way if the exchanged mask is not good, I can just give them the new mask instead?
