The skin rarities update was a massive downgrade
With the latest update the devs decided that from now on new skins won't be receiving custom pins, profile icons and sprays, instead what is going to happen is that there are going to be cosmetics "based" on the skins but not linked to the skins themselves (sprays and pins that are equipped under the "player's pins/sprays" sections which are significantly more limited).
This is genuinely just a really weird choice if you consider that they introduced in the very same update a whole oddities shop to shop for cosmetics.
They could've simply detached the cosmetics from the skins and made us buy them separately WITHOUT having to remove them entirely/moving them to the "player's cosmetics" sections
(when the catalogue was first introduced skins related cosmetics were treated this way, that's why some super rare skins have sprays and profile icons even if they shouldn't)
And even if they wanted to remove the massive amounts of useless cosmetics, which apparently people didn't care for, they honestly should've just removed sprays, which are in my opinion the most useless cosmetic ever created. But not pins, man. Pins are one of the cutest things in the games and I like to play my skins with their matching pin
