3.5 hr cart on a 3 hr route
This morning I took a bonusing 3hr route, drove 25 minutes to the warehouse and the paper said it was a 3.5 hr. I approached the warehouse employee assuming it was a mistake. He refused to switch out the cart and told me to contact support. He also said all of the carts were a 3.5 and when I told him the car in front of me was a 3, he walked over to check and shrugged it off. I understand its only another half hr and 3s are usually as long as 3.5s but its the principle. I have never had this issue in my 7 years of driving for flex and if dont have a 3hr, they either remove some packages or send the person home. Again, I understand its not THAT big of a deal to just do it but with gas prices at almost $5 a gallon, it being rush hour and the first drop off being an hr away, I decided to refuse it (did not scan btw) and contact support. I was told they would open a ticket and I would get paid within 24hrs but wanted to know how others would have handled this. Id also like to mention the car behind me had a 2.5 hr route and was given a 3.5 as well and refused the route.
