85% sure she’s straight, and I have no shot. But I always catch her staring in meetings. How do I even start to pay her back for this?

I have a beginner question about playing notes I read off of some sheet music for a new song I want to learn (Alrighty Aphrodite - Peach Pit)
The song seems to require me to play the E and the G string simultaneously. However, I’ve never had to do anything remotely like that for any song I’ve played. Even the beginner tabs for this song seem to require it.
Is this something that would require finger picking (which I don’t usually do), or is it something I can do with a hand pick?
Any advice would be much appreciated 🙏
