I am a grade 11 student currently, and my plan after I finish high school is to study biotechnology in Australia, hopefully. So far, I've come up with a list of five universities that I think would be really great. These are the University of Melbourne, Monash University, University of Sydney, University of New South Wales, and the University of Queensland. For me, it's really important that the university has a really good laboratory and that the city has a good lifestyle/good city life. And overall, the biotechnology program has to be really good. If you have studied or lived in Australia and have experience with any of these universities, which one would you personally recommend and why? I would really be grateful for any advice, tips, or personal stories. Thank you very much.

I'm currently in grade 11, and I really want to study abroad for a degree in biotechnology when I graduate. But the problem is, I don't know where to start or what I should be doing right now. I would really appreciate hearing from people who've already gone through the process and what they did to improve their chances of getting accepted, and what you would have wished you had done before applying. I'm also not quite sure how to choose the right countries or universities, or how the scholarship or the financial aid work. If you've studied abroad or you're planning to, what steps did you take during high school that actually made a difference and helped you get accepted?
