Promos: 6 Batches for $80 -- Why did IC cheat on the number of completed batches?
At the 4/6 mark of IC's promo of 6/6, one of my batches didn't get counted. I am hoping there is another explanation for this flagrant error on batches completed count within the IC app. And like the title of this post, I'm asking what would cause IC's number of completed batches to be different than actual batches completed?
I called IC's customer service while in a batch (which is apparently the only time they will provide CS to Shoppers), and quickly realized the reps were too stupid to even understand the situation. One CS rep did say IC could fix the batch count error AFTER I had finished all 6 batches by calling back. However, they couldn't fix it at the point in which I had already completed 4 batches but th app showed only 3.
After completing the 6th batch for the promo, IC customer support tel did not allow me to ask for help and hung up when I called CS since I wasn't in an active batch. The phone prompt said use the app, so I went back to that for the chat. Nobody ever came to answer the chat for CS.
Has this happened to anyone else? What is going on with the promo batch count and is this deliberate? What other explainatons might there be?
