X5 Gen 2 Problem: Self-check fails 4G signal test
Since this Sunday my new X5 gen 2 suddenly has a problem: Whenever it needs to do a self-check in certain map editing functions (f.ex. I need to add/edit a Zone/mowing-area), it fails the self-check stage/position "4G Signal test". Interestingly, it passes all other tests, including "4G signal connected successfully". And also in the other settings, the 4G module seems to be OK - f.ex. in the GPS/4G anti-theft tracking, it shows as "module status - online" with current timestamps when it last reported its location.
Kind of strange.
I tried shutdown/reboot of the mower, shutdown/reboot my phone I use to control it, anything... Retrued to map editing multiple times per day since Sunday and it just won't work anymore.
I did some map editing on Sunday morning (where it also needed to run the self-check and passed it successfully), but then in the afternoon, and since then, no luck. always the same error.
I opened a ticket with Sunseeker Support yesterday, but maybe someone here has an idea on how to resolve this or had the same problem already?
Update:
Sunseeker support replied to my ticket and told me - without any further checkng/digging - that they are unable to help with this, and that the specialist/reseller I bought the mower from needs do be involved to do a manual diagnosis via specialized software/tooling.
What a shame tbh from my point of view! That puts Sunseeker support in a pretty bad light if you ask me. CHF 2'000.- for a "tech tool" that cannot be "tech tooled" by "tech support" :-(
Hope the specialist/reseller wont charge me for his time with this...
In case Sunseeker is reading this: Internal Sunseeker EU case/ticket number is 34628. Maybe you can kick some butt and optimize your support org???
