Hello,

I just had my first derm appt ever which was scheduled due to what looks like mixed acne all over my face. My main concern was my forehead, but now my entire face has broken out.

I told the derm I was worried abt medications that will cause my acne to get worse before it gets better bc I have graduation in 2 weeks.

She prescribed me with spironolactone (twice a day 25mg), minocycline (50mg once a day) a medicated face wash (not sure what the medicated face wash is, the prescription is coming from a speciality pharmacy and they haven’t called me yet))

I’m making this post cuz I’m looking for outside opinions on this new routine and general thoughts/experiences.

Thank you!

I’m making this post cuz I’m looking for outside opinions on this new routine and general thoughts/experiences.

Thank you!
