The reason why I'm playing on a Jasper instead of a Slim is not important, it's a long story.
So apparently, when plugging my Jasper Xbox into older TVs (like the Panasonic one on the first picture) it has no display, no matter what settings I choose, but it works just fine on newer 4K TVs (like the Sony one on the third picture). BUT, my old Slim works with the older TV just fine (like on the second picture) and definitely works with the 4K one as well.
My question is: why am I unable to see anything on my Panasonic on the Jasper, no matter the display settings, but the Slim works perfect on it on every setting? What can I do to make it display something without AV (I hate AV because it makes Minecraft split-screen impossible) or a component cable? (no money at the moment)
Before anyone asks:
- no, I can't play on the slim, I already transferred all data from it into my Jasper before being forced to use the Panasonic TV that somehow doesn't work
- no, I can't use a different TV, the TV I used for my Jasper years ago worked fine with it, but I gave it away and now I have to use the Panasonic one, the Sony TV is in my parents room, I CAN'T use it instead
- yes, I tried every setting in the display menu, including the one currently set on the Slim, for some reason no results either
- yes, I tried the trick with holding y + right bumper, literally nothing happens
- yes, I tried a different HDMI cable, 4 of them
- yes, I used an AV cable, works fine, but I'm not gonna use it for reasons
It's probably not an issue with the refresh rate, because whenever I tried to change the resolution blind, nothing happened, so it probably already showed how 50hz looks like according to the console, and still didn't show it up on the screen.
Please help!
