I have a vauxhall grandland X and have had the run around with the tyre pressure monitor system (indirect system) and wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

I can't really work out when the tpms warning lights came on I think it came on after changing a tyre.

I took it to a garage and they told me they can't work out any issues with the tpms system and told me it was an indirect tpms linked to the abs sensors. I took the car to another garage and they said that the car may require a software update ( I don't get this as it was working before), I mentioned it is an intermittent fault with the abs sensors but he said that if they were faulty the abs alarms would be coming in, as well another suggestion was different make tyres (I dont understand that either as they are the correct size). I had all three tyres changed so I thought the tread was low on the other and that could be what was bringing the alarm in. So I changed the other tyre although it was not ready for it.

I tried buying an obd reader to read the ABS sensors to see the revolutions of each tyre to see if I can ascertain which tyre is the fault but the reader would not show that so I sent it back.

The air pressures hold on the recommendation and I also tried them a little above the recommendation but the alarm still come in.

The system is silly because it just says check tyre pressures not which tyre is at fault.

I have got it booked in with the main dealer but I have to wait two months and when I was booking the car in they haven't filled me with much confidence they will find the issue.

Every time I reset the tyre pressures the alarm clears and comes back in on the motorway around 100 to 200 driven miles.

Anyone had this issue and can recommend advice.
