Hey, I’m looking for some advice.
I’ve known I’m attracted to guys since I was pretty young, but I’ve only ever dated girls (haven’t dated in years). Lately I’ve been thinking it’s time to actually accept that part of myself and try dating guys instead of ignoring it.
I’m more into masculine/athletic guys, but I’m open to just meeting people and seeing what clicks.
The problem is I live in a pretty small/rural area, so meeting people in person isn’t really an option right now. I’m also not fully out yet, so I’m trying to take things at my own pace.
So I guess my question is: for someone around 16–19, what are the best ways to meet other guys online in a safe and realistic way? Any good communities, apps, or general advice?
I’m aware of stuff like catfishing, so I’d be taking things slow and being careful.
