i think i was too stupid for this game and am so sad to fully realise how much i ruined my own experience. i got reading fatigued and stopped taking in most of the ‘flavour’ text and so i don’t really think i fully grasped that you’re expecting to be able to stop the supernova because you’re assuming someone is causing it, and once you realise it failed, that’s when it hits that there’s nothing you can do… i think i just didn’t process anything how you were meant to and got too caught up on the puzzle element…
i love gaming and i love the emotional arcs of games and i think on this occasion, the mechanics took over my emotional engagement which is very unlike me, and i’m so disappointed for it
not asking for anything, just venting and wondering if anyone else had the same experience?
