Does anyone know of any 14" cymbals that are compatible with the ATV optical HH controller? The edge zone on my C14 no longer works and am hoping I can find a cymbal that might just work with the geometry of the sensor and not affect the open/closing of the top and bottom. The unlock 14" crash looks promising. The EFnote 14" crash also looks promising with the exception of the TRS jack is facing inward and protrudes slightly higher than the rest of the inner cover. For the efnote I'm wondering how difficult it would be to rotate the TRS jack 180 degrees and how closely the inner cover from the ATV C14 would match given the relationship of the two companies.
The easiest thing would be to just get another C14 for the replacement. The only problem I have with that is how ATV cymbals are prone to edge issues (first was my ATV ride and now the C14).
Anyone have some thoughts or ideas? Thanks
