How is it possible that Ray Gun will cost that much if a big part of the preproduction is already done?

Brad Bird started writing this movie 30 years ago and has the script already finished. Probably he already has the whole movie in mind. So why the budget is so high? I doubt it’s for the animation because SpiderVerse and Puss In Boots has top notch animation (both 2D and 3D) and they costed way less.

One of my favorite panels in the series

The backstory of Tatsumaki was so beautifully written. Seeing her realize that she can rely on other people, the same she once insulted, always makes me get emotional. Especially with Genos, even when their relationship is usually depicted as a gag one, having these scenes where we see she is a true hero.

Why nobody ever talks about the French horizontal collaboration? And why it’s never taught in schools?

I‘m European and I live in Europe, yet I never heard anyone talking about this historical fact. We alway hear the same things that everybody knows but we never hear about the humiliation French women had to suffer after WW2.
