Are exclusion periods exclusive to banks/banking groups or is it across ANY QFF points earning credit card?
For example can you move from one CC at bank A, cancel and apply for a CC at unaffiliated bank B and be eligible for bonus points?
Hey all,
I know that all points earning credit cards have cooling off periods for bonus points.
My question is: are these cooling off periods across all QFF partner cards OR is it specific to banks/banking groups?
For example, could I have a credit card with ANZ, earn the bonus points after the 12 months etc and then cancel for a card with Westpac, etc?
FYI this isn't the actual situation and I understand it reflects badly on your credit report applying for card after card
