I'm not talking about your regular pet dog here no I'm talking about an actual guard dog and hunting dogs that have been bred and trained to protect their owners and hunt animals.

I watched a clip from YouTube on the show The Last of Us and Fear the walking dead and it showed dogs attacking infected. It got me thinking how would you use your dogs against infected if you had too.

Make it fair the zombie viruses can only turn humans into zombies not animals.

Let me give you the example : you and your group had trained dogs sniff out infected and trained them guard/hunt down zombies. How would you use them effectively against undead?

The top three things that scares me the most about the zombie outbreak beside of course the infected.

. Hunger/cannibalism

. Disease/sickness like common cold,cancer and ect

. Harsh weather like extreme heat and dangerous cold winters without shelter

What are yours biggest fears about zombie apocalypse

I know people have been telling me to get a pump action but I always have a special place in my heart for double barrels. Does anyone have any experience with the double defense series by Stoeger Condor?

I want to hunt but I also want to be ready for the zombie apocalypse.

First image is Henry repeating arms single shot rifle in 308 Winchester for deer

But the second one is a Ruger scout rifle in 308 Winchester which is bolt action.

I want to get three more guns for my collection

That is another 22lr revolver but in double action

A shotgun which I'm debating on getting a double barrel or pump action for hunting and survival

And finally the third gun is either a rifle like in images or a big caliber pistol like 9mm,357 magnum or 44 magnum

This is my other gear that I didn't show.

I have more stuff but this is the only thing I have that can fit in my room so far.

I have elbow pads,knee pads and wrist protectors ( inspired by the High school of the dead anime )

I then have a plate carrier which I have but I need better plates for them so any places or online retailers buy not so expensive plates will be helpful.

I then have a skate helmet which I'm planning on replacing with a better quality bump or ballistic helmet.

Military goggles

I have a Cold steel Brooklyn slammer small bat if I need a blunt instrument.

Last I have Cold steel shield which is used for training I believe but I mainly got it for block off attackers with melee weapons and I'm planning to buy an actual riot shield or a ballistic shield they are too expensive right now for me for the moment.

I'm just starting my zombie apocalypse kit and so these are gear I have so far. This stuff does not include all my edc gear that I carry everyday,water,food,shelter and ect.

These are just the tools that I will use to fight off zombies or go small game hunting around the area for food in case of apocalypse or simple society breakdown

. 22lr Savage arms model 64 with three magazines

. Ruger wrangler 22lr revolver

I also have a belt sling filled with 50 rounds 22lr

Two 22lr pouches

Cleaning kit

And

4 pistol magazine pouches that use for 22lr rifle

And knives are Bowie knife from Mossy oak and dagger is commando knife dagger from Budk.

I'm looking to upgrade rifle to a shotgun which I made a few posts about and I'm planning on getting a different revolver in 22 WMR.

Edit : reason why I want to get a 22 wmr revolver is because I like how rounds are lighter and plus you can leave the revolver loaded and not worry about spring in mag failing but don't be mad at me I'm still new to guns still.

So I finally decided to save my money in getting a shotgun.

I'm either going for a Stoeger Condor 12 gauge over and under or that Hatsan escort 12 gauge semi automatic.

I'm also trying not to spend too much and plus I made a post that I want to hunt so if there are better hunting shotguns especially ones good for apocalypse can leave comments on the model especially if it's 12 gauge

I am planning on getting my first shotgun for hunting but I'm also thinking what would happen if a zombie apocalypse or any unrest happened in my area.

I want to get semi-automatic but I think that it will be too complicated to maintain so most likely I might get a pumped or over and under shotgun but want to know what everyone's opinions on shotguns for the apocalypse.

So I just finished watching High school of the dead anime and I enjoy it for years but I always wonder about how long would police last before collapsing.

During one of the early episodes scenes take place on bridge and riot police were defending it against undead protecting civilians.

So the question here I'm asking is how good would riot control gear be good against zombies like the armor, batons ( fixed not collapsible), shields and simple service pistols that police officers carry (New Nambu M60 that Japanese police use )
