My moms 2018 Nissan Sentra was totaled in a rear end accident (frame damage) and we’ve had a rental since it’s been at the shop. My stress is now with how to go forward they offered my mother a injury settlement check of $4,000 but I want to negotiate for more since now there’s lost of wages, stress, and unable to get to work. Another thing is the rental situation they’ve claimed they’ll cover it till the car is picked up but now since the Body Shop totaled it out and won’t let us pick it up (minus our belongings). I just don’t know where to go next since we’ve never experienced a totaled vehicle. Any advice would be useful.
