Frigidaire FPBC2277RF - Water Dispenser Issue After Changing Filter
Was doing a routine water filter change (EPTWFU01, admittedly off-market brand) when suddenly, the water dispenser was flowing a lot slower than usual. I tried reinserting the filter a few times to make sure it was clicked into place, but it made no difference. I tried re-inserting my old filter and even that no longer works the same.
I removed the filter housing but couldn't see any real issue with the filter head, but it definitely feels like that could be the problem. I also disconnected the braided water supply line to test if the flow was strong, and it was, so the problem definitely feels like it's from the fridge. I then removed some of the tubes from the water inlet valve to see if I could clean them, but that also made no difference.
I've ordered a new filter that will be coming in later this week, but I don't expect it to change anything. Has anyone faced a similar issue and can diagnose exactly what’s happening?
