Steam game runs but instantly stops

Hey yall, this is my first time posting here and I got a pretty bad issue that I have never gotten before. This problem relates to one of my steam games (The Binding of Isaac), but I feel like there is an issue within the files of the game.

For context, I'm a little new to modding for TBOI and I got Repentagon for the first time. I downloaded both the Steam mod for it as well as the rest from its online site. After playing around with it for a bit I decided to uninstall it, but I feel like I uninstalled it completely wrong. And that is due to the fact that, after I did so I have been stuck in this loop. I run TBOI, as soon as it reaches 100% sync it asks for admin password to continue, I put in the password, starts running, then full stops. The window for the game doesn't pop up and there is no error message.

I tried verifying my game files and it says that there isn't anything out of the ordinary, cleared out the temporary cache, I have restarted my laptop, and I have even uninstalled the game as well as the DLCs. Still the same result. I'm assuming it is due to something within the files?

If someone could lend me a hand with this type of thing it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Stuck in a game closing loop

Hey yall, this is my first time posting here and I got a pretty bad issue that I have never gotten before.

I'm a little new to the modding community for TBOI and I got Repentagon for the first time. I downloaded both the Steam mod for it as well as the rest from its online site. After playing around with it for a bit I decided to uninstall it, but after I did so I have been stuck in this loop. I run TBOI, as soon as it reaches about 98% sync it asks for admin password to continue, I put in the password, starts running, then full stops. The window for the game doesn't pop up and there is no error message.

I tried verifying my game files and it says that there isn't anything out of the ordinary, and I have restarted my laptop. Still the same result. I'm assuming it is due to something within the files?
