This is a followup from my rant from last week about how difficult it is to watch games when the camera is constantly changing for seemingly no reason.

The camera angles. The jarring camera switching. Not able to see the entire pitch when a player is making a break down the sideline with the ball. This game has been a pain in the ass to watch.

A winger gets a nice through ball and is running down the sideline. I'm trying to see what kind of options they have in the box, but the camera pans to show just the runner himself and the defender he's taking on.

Does anyone actually like this? Does anyone want to see JUST a closeup of the person with the ball, when there are likely 3 or 4 other runners breaking into the box?

It feels like they just do it because they can. They have so many cameras in so many positions, and they feel the need to pan to players who are closest to certain cameras to justify having them. But it drives me crazy when I'm unable to see the entire pitch when someone with the ball is in a clear position to make a play.

I get that they need to switch things up every now and then to avoid the broadcast feeling stale. But they don't need to do it as often as they do. I'm really hoping they cut down on it ahead of the World Cup. Thoughts? Am I the only one who feels this way?
