The recruiter told me and at least one other co worker we would be making more money at the end of the contract. a pay cut from 30 to 26 was discussed and they framed it like "but they have all these benefits so its not that bad" 6 months later the municipality is making the news for being broke and no body is getting the offers they were told by the recruiter. even if they weren't broke we wouldn't get these offers because the county doesn't pay that high to anybody it seems like. it was worded to me in a incredibly weird way looking back like i would be going from one recruiter to an other. none of my paper work mentions it. they will usually admit what they said if i get them on the phone. Any way they're offering me like 21.50. just really depressed feel like i got scammed. My faith in humanity is so low. A city government using a recruiter to lie to people to have employees during snow season. Not seeking advice. that's not allowed. I thought about small claims court to get paid enough to find a other job. It hurts my soul to know we live in a system where governments are now conmen and anybody get away with lying about anything as long if some body gets rich. sickening. Just need to vent i guess. Hypothetical.
